Amicor Pure prevents house dust mites from nesting in the bedclothes. The test aimed at investigating the effect of the fibre under actual circumstances. The test group slept for thirteen weeks on Amicor Pure ticking and kept a daily record of their symptoms and their use of inhalers.

Ten of the fifty patients recorded a lessening of their symptoms and after a few weeks showed a complete recovery. A number of the patients found the complaint so much improved that they were able to stop the daily use of inhalers.

The test gave the following results:

-         96% improvement in symptoms measured on a daily basis

-         81% decrease in inhaler use by individual patients.

Your iBEDS^® Amicor latex mattress will be made using a 6" Talalay Latex mattress core (30 - 34 ILD) and an additional 2" soft (14 - 16 ILD) Talalay comfort layer for a total of 8" of latex.
